I don’t own a scale and don’t care to ever own one. It’s not my thing. My happiness does not come from a number & we all know muscle weighs more than fat. However, I was curious how this new vegan lifestyle has changed my body. I can definitely already see changes in my waist, hips, & legs. So, I stopped by the Health & Wellness dept at my work & got weighed on this high-tech scale. I probably shouldn’t have weighed myself right after eating a huge breakfast/lunch, but whatever. =P
In summary, I lost around 5 lbs since the last time I weighed myself. But the real kicker is that I now weigh under 120… and I don’t even remember the last time I was under 120! So that was kinda cool.
Again, it’s only a number and has little significance to me. I’d feel more accomplished in being able to hold a crane pose or being able to do the splits or throwing a disc really far (things I have started working on). But, it’s still good to know that my body is responding nicely to all this.
